My name's Alistair and I've been involved with computers and the computer industry ever since I first used one at school in 1979 and remain fascinated by them to this day.

Over the last 15 years I have designed, troubleshot, diagnosed and repaired PCs, servers and networks every day, so I have a wealth of knowledge gained from practical experience and during this time I have earned several IT industry qualifications to reinforce that experience.

To me computers are more than that. They are the tools that allow you to simplify your life and express your creativity and I, like everyone else I know, am frustrated by them when they break down or don't do what you want them to.

That is why I am offering this service. Computers should be as easy to use as any other piece of electrical equipment in the home, and not expensive gadgets in the corner of the room that get regularly sworn at, or gather dust.

When you call I will give you my genuine opinion of the problem and a realistic assessment of how to solve it. Whether this involves a repair, upgrade, training or onwards referral if I am unable to help, you will get an honest evaluation and a no nonsense explanation.
